JPAC: A HERO’S MISSION
Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command
JPAC’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting of all Americans missing as a result of the nation’s past conflicts. JPAC personnel search for, recover and identify remains of Americans unaccounted-for from the Persian Gulf War, Vietnam War, Cold War, Korean War, and World War II.
In July 2006, Guerrilla Docs accompanied a JPAC team in the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to film a recovery mission for three missing Americans ambushed in the remote jungles of Central Vietnam. The crew filmed at the JPAC forensic labs in Hawaii documenting the incredible work of the dedicated scientists who analyze and identify the remains of America’s lost heroes.
This documentary chronicles JPAC’s history, their personnel, their missions and their commitment to their fellow comrades to never leave a man behind.
